Mulga Bore Hard Rock band are just that, hard rock! The band started in 2022 in Akaye, East of Alice Springs and the band (just out of high school!) have been on the road ever since, playing shows all over the country and even supporting their idols Kiss at a show on the Gold Coast. They’ve played live on Fran Kelly’s RN show, opened YIRRAMBOI 2023, Share the Spirit Festival at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, supported No Fixed Adress and have two huge shows coming up at Bigsound and Sydney SXSW.

Meet Mulga Bore Hard Rock. They are the six piece band of family members hailing from the remote central Australia desert community of Akaye, located 2 hours northeast of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. This group of teenagers, ages 14-19 years old, bring from the hot, dry desert their own style of hard rock, but not just any kind of hard rock: GLAM hard rock.
